I'm an accessories designer. I trained at St Martins and London College of Fashion and sold throughout the UK, Europe, US and Japan through London, New York and Paris fashion week and exhibitions. My designs were sold in world renowned stores Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Liberty, Paul Smith, Barneys New York, Merchants on Long (Cape Town) and featured in Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Red, Time Out London and Brides magazines.
I then moved to Zanzibar to set up an NGO charitable project providing free training to local people to make accessories to sell to the expanding tourist market. This involved setting up a large workshop with retail space, which was handed over to the members on my return to the UK after 8 years.
