**Guide to taking your own measurements**
If you don’t have flexible measuring tape, use a string/belt/shoelace/etc to take the measurements then measure it against a ruler/hard measuring tape.
Waist: is the SMALLEST part of your waistline, typically above your belly button
Hips: is the FULLEST part of your butt
Rise: on jeans/shorts is where the crotch stitches meet to the top of the waist. You can use this measurement to see how high they will come up on your waist.
Inseam: from inner crotch to ankle (essentially length of your leg on inner side)
